One of the speakers at the Green Practices Workshop, Lucas Dengel’s presentation was on Solid Waste Management. The presentation was structured into various sections dealing with the present scenario, how we discard waste, public health and hygiene, moral issues related to waste management, technical issues, and more. He spoke passionately about the dangerous consequences we face due to our disregard to indiscriminate dumping of waste. Lucas explained the pros and cons of many latest waste management technologies.
