Opening presentation on 'Mission Auroville': an experiment in cultural geography by 6 Polish artists who are visiting Auroville for 2 months. Vocabulary of culture texts produced in Poland often deals with questions on historical and personal fears and mishappenings. The project aims at confronting these kinds of attitudes with utopian, optimistic and future-oriented reality of Auroville. The project is a colaboration between Museum of Art in Lodz and Kala Kendra Gallery with support from Goldex Poldex and the Adam Mickiewicz Insitute. Read more

Dr. Peter Choate of Calgary, Alberta in Canada gave a week of his time and expertise facilitating a week-long seminar to those involved in Auroville's Child Protection Services. He points out the vital importance of creating a transparent secure platform in which both the abused and the abusers will finally confront and communicate with one another, having a conversation on how they feel about these secret practices surrounded with fear.

Recently Uma (Upasana) attended a workshop in Belgium on Inner Intelligence. It is part of management training based on spiritual wisdom of eastern traditions in combination with scientific understanding. Jeden Samstag trifft sich der offene Studienkreis der University of Human Unity/UHU im Unity Pavilion. Einer der Initiatoren ist der deutsche Philosophie-Dozent Rudi.  Im November 2006 hat er das Projekt der Universitaet  konkret angestossen, etwas, das hier schon von Anbeginn in der Luft lag, nach den Worten der Mutter sogar einer der Exiztenzgruende fuer Auroville ist.
